What do you think Scotland will do.
I can't help noticing that the England is going some way down the line in banning commercial sex with the criminalisation of men who buy sex from a women who is controlled. This kind of makes it difficult when the women is working for an agency or Brothel.
Will Scotland go the same route. there have been some MSPs proposing a total ban alomg the Swedish and Norway laws.

Re emails it is better if using a template to alter it a little otherwise they do tend to get ignored unless there are thousands. Dear Jacqui Smith MP (Home secretary)
I am concerned at the governments proposals to further criminalise sex work by criminalising the clients of sex workers who are controlled for gain and targeting brothels.
Two girls working together for security and companionship is legally a brothel. The majority of sex workers like the majority of British subjects choose to work for a third party for anonymity, security and because safe businesses provide social support networks. It is unfair and unjust that sex workers should be denied the same rights as any other working person. There is decades of collated evidence that indoor sex work is the safest place for sex workers and the majority of evidence including raids during pentameter 1 and 11 prove that there is little evidence of coercion or trafficking. Despite this the government is planning new laws to target safe places of work and indeed is already doing so.
During recent raids in Soho police arrested and threatened with controlling for gain Ms Tracey Ramsey a brothel receptionist who is also the sole carer for her elderly father who also has Alzheimers. This was despite the fact that there was no evidence of any abuse or trafficking. Receptionist and other support staff employed to ensure the safety of sex workers are being targeted under unfair laws that do not differentiate between coercion and genuine managements who are employed by sex workers to perform specific roles ensuring safe business practises. The government talks a lot about ensuring the safety of sex workers and yet creates laws that target safe places of work and ensures that sex workers are alienated and vulnerable.
I would ask you to stop closing safe working premises and instead recognise the legitimate demands of sex workers to be afforded the same rights as any other UK worker. I would ask that as home secretary that you speak to and listen to sex workers and look at New Zealand where sex workers human rights are recognised in law.
Only by recognising peoples rights will you stop injustice. The government is targeting an already vulnerable sector of workers and forcing them underground and into the hands of criminals. This is simply wrong and I ask that the home secretary does the right and just thing and stop persecuting sex workers.

It is time for the monthly SelectAnEscort.com newsletter. There have been some changes to the website which affect the way the profiles are displayed. I also want to talk about the impending new legislation, which will affect all of you.
Profile Pictures
All premier listing images, new escort images and the alphabetic display images are now displayed in a consistent shape and size. These pictures are all now displayed in a portrait format with a ratio of height to width of 1.5. All images you load as the profile image are cropped and sized for these displays. Please check to see if the images are correct. You may have to load a more suitable image. Profile images are not affected, and remain as they are.
I have changed the gallery to display images in a more sexy way. Loading the gallery should be quicker, and you can load an unlimited set of pictures. The gallery thumbnails are smaller than before, while when you click on the picture I have improved the display and quality.
Search Displays
The search pages now are paged. Before all escorts related to a set of search criteria were displayed in one go. This meant for London, over 300 escorts would be displayed in one go. This proved to be slow, and even caused problems with web browsers like Firefox.
The menu has changed, and takes up a lot less space on the left hand side of the page. I have a reason, and that is to sell banner advertising in the menu. Already there are a couple of adverts in the menu area. If you are interested in advertising here, then please contact me.

The IUSW have campaigned vigorously in the media recently. Among the numerous voices speaking out is sex worker and activist Catherine Stevens who has also appeared on national television.

The sex industry is now openly under attack by the some members of this Government. The Government intends to bring in new laws which will affect everyone involved in the industry including clients. The intention of the new laws may sound reasonable, protecting local neighbourhoods from nuisance, and protecting women from trafficking and coercion but are really disguising potentially dangerous intrusions on our liberties. I expect you have read about the governments proposals in the paper and heard about it on TV and radio. You may also have see that very few news papers and commentators are in agreement with these proposed laws. Pity the Government takes little notice.
Unfortunately the new laws are phrased so that a man is acting as a criminal if he visits a woman who is controlled for gain. Anyone working in a parlour, or an agency comes under this categorisation in the eyes of the law, resulting in an estimated 90% of men (Vera Baird stated this) who visit sex workers becoming potential criminals. This will likely have an effect on the business of agencies and parlours. This law will not help trafficked women, because it will drive that business into the shadows, and create an exploitable criminalised market, which could see the closure of agencies and parlours.
Independent escorts conceivably could do well out of this new law provided they truly work independently and do not share with others or hire a maid or telephonist who in law will be viewed as controlling them for gain. Consent of sex workers to employ the agency of another is irrelevant in law. A client needs to be sure that the independent escort is not working for a pimp, or supporting a drug dependency. The result of this for ALL SEX WORKERS is that good clients will be scared off.
Lets not forget that this is a thin end of the wedge, the Labour feminists want to protect YOU, and want to stop ALL prostitution which they view as ...
