airport strikes typical
Its totally typical, I want to scream and scream I am due to go on holiday on the 7th Jan 2008 and this is the exact day that BAA has decided to strike for 24 hours on the very day that I go on holiday
Now I have had delays at airports before, in August this summmer I had a 16 hour delay at the lovely Sharm El Sheik airport in Egypt and a 2 day delay a year ago in Barbados, but this is a strike and i still have to go to the Airport and check in and then i am stuck at the airport untill its over or they can arrange another flight ect it crazy no one knows anything apart from to just to say turn up as usual so i guess thats what im going to do just turn up and sit and wait ,wish me luck

Ah, but you will be alright now. The strike on the 7th has been canceled. So go off an enjoy your holiday.
