Bristol City @Wembly
Im very sorry that i have not been blogging for the past few weeks however my laptop that i normally use has not been working but i now have it sorted so i can begin blogging
Im expecting a quite weekend this weekend as Bristol City are off to Wembly Virtually all Bristol men will be in the pub or at Wembly so i am free to those of you who hate football and want some fun despite having had 4 tickets to go and see them play
As a City supporter and season ticket holder I did go and watch the match last week where we got through to go to Wembly and straight away I ordered my tickets or thought i did !!!.
What a fuck up in the day and ages of modern technology it was total chaos I hate ringing premium rate numbers as you are always kept on the line for ages and ages while they are racking up loads of money and its worse if you are on a mobile
(a sneaky tip for everyone go on line and find the number to ring the company - in my case ticket master - as if you are abroad its always a landline number and not a rip off 50p aminute and this applies to most big companies even if its a freephone you get charge premium rates from mobile so find the number for the company to ring as if you are abroad. I just hate being ripped off ) i was kept on the phone to Ticketmaster for over 30mins so that about £15 min from a landline and god knows how much from a mobile
Anyway I ordered 2 tickets on line using the wap system on my phone. Great got 2 tickets so i will be able to go and watch the match the next day having not received any text or confirmation of my ticket i rang up fuckit master as i call ticketmaster as they are great at fucking things up to be told i had not ordered any. Luckily as it was still only avaible for season ticket holder i was able to order 2 more tickets.
However lucky for me 4 tickets turnt up.and i recieved 4 tickets for Wembly I felt like Willy Wonka with the Golden tickets. However certain family members and friends managed to convince me that i would not really want to go ( i must be thick) and so bought them off me although i must add at a very very healthy profit to me . So while I watch Bristol City on TV at Wembly, once they have won ( they will) I will be off to buy a new handbag with the profits from my tickets
Football aside the weather has been great mostly and lets hope it stays nice for the next few weeks at least
