Jammin in Butilin in Jamaica
Well i have returned from my holiday of sunshine and gorgeous beaches to cold but sunny old Bristol Yippe Jamaica was interesting to say the least. Having never been to Jamaica before i was surprised that its very English sort of country, which surprised me a lot. Even down to driving on the same side of the road as we do, although they drive much much crazier than we do i saw at least 3 accidents on the road when i went out and about, and many of the towns and parishes are named after English towns such as Falmouth and Plymouth. They also have red telephone boxes scattered around which was strange to see. The hotel where i stayed could only be described as simply Butlins In Jamaica. Honest im not joking, it really was like a Butlins Camp simply transported from Minehead or Bognor Regis to Sunny Jamaica. But despite the Butlins type atmosphere the hotel and its brilliant staff kind of grew on you after a few days ( and lots of run and red stripe) i really began to enjoy myself I did some fab dives in Jamaica but as i dont like boats as i have mentioned before i was kind of limited to the dives that wre reasonably close to shore. But i did manage to get Wet Wet Wet ( as the tour guide tells you ) climbing up Dunns River Falls which was great fun and very very wet and im ashamed to say that i coped out halfway up and let the rest of the group carry on. And I fell in love (sorry guys) with a pair of absolutley gorgeous tuna fish eating Dolphins called Perry and his mate Candi. My heart is stolen to two very sweet Dolphins The weather was great most of the time but when it rained it really rained and Butlins in the rain even if it is in the caribbean is not pleasant. But apart from the odd day of rain it was gorgeous and i really enjoyed myself Would I go back Yes I would just not to Butlins I just dont want to hear another Bob Marley Song ever again though Love and Kisses Paris
