jammin in jamaica
Well, its been a terrific two months of immense work and pleasure with all you lovely gents (and ladies) so i am off on the 1st of April to treat myself to some sunshine as we dont seem to be getting sun here in England at present
One of my main vices is holidays and reading books I love travelling and i normally have a holiday booked as soon as i come back from a holiday
Im a qualified scuba diver and have been diving for several years and have got to my Divemaster level with Padi which i completed in Egypt last year with my diving club and eventually i hope that i will get to my assistant instructor level but i think i need a few more dives yet in a few more exotic places !!!!!
Thanks to my diving and my love of travelling I have been lucky enough to get to some amazing places around the world with my diving club and on my own holidays including Cuba, Margarita, Borneo, Thailand, Cayman Islands, Domincan Republic, Barbados, Maldives and Goa and closer to home Malta & Gozo, Egypt Turkey and anywhere else thats in Europe that offers good warm diving but my favorite place has always been Dahab in Egypt which is where i fist learnt to dive
Im not a tough as the guys that i dive with and prefer to dive abroad where its warm and visibilty is good but belonging to a diving club in Bristol means we tend to dive in Cornwall and Devon where its cold and visibilty is not as good.
But for someone who is a real water baby and i love the sea and swimming, I get really seasick on small boats and cant contemplate doing long boat trips to get to dive sites especially if im on a RIB (rigid inflatable boats) for me its like being on the rides at Alton Towers and not being allowed to get off so i try to wherever possible limit myself to shore dives. Its truly not fun if your stuck on a small boat and your cold and you want to throw up the only way the stop feeling sick is to get in the water and start diving The one dive site that i would love to do is the famous Thistlegorm Cargo Ship in Egypt but its several hours tripon a boat to get to the dive site and im just to chicken shit of being seesick to do it
So for me anywhere where there is a good beach and it hot and sunny and plenty of snorkling and shore diving is fine with me. This time my holiday destination was a choice between the Gambia which is somewhere that i have always wanted to travel to and visit or Jamaica where i have never been but always wanted to visit as many of my friends have been there.
Jamacia won the flip of the coin, so i am going on 1st of April for two weeks of rest and relaxation and lots of diving and red stripe and reading my books
Im staying near Falmouth which i believe is about a 30min drive from the airport, the one thing i hate is having to travel ages to get to your hotel. Im hoping to do all the usual tourist stuff such as Dunns River Fall, Bob Marley House ( yes i will get that T- shirt for you as promised) and maybe swim with the Dolphins and lots of swimming and whatever else takes my fancy
So come and see me this week in Bristol before i jet off to the sunshine and warm waters

Like myself Maddison is very busy so its best to book her in advance or call her early to get to see her. Who knows if you have seen me and then you meet her maybe you will want to see us both together in my hottub for the ultimate naughty appointment
