Charlotte Rose, 38, from Essex, who began her career in the sex industry at the age of 17 and won Sex Worker of the Year in 2013 at the Sexual Freedom Awards, says that when she revealed the secret about her job to her children, it was to 'protect them.'
'If it wasn't for the industry I'm in, I wouldn't have been able to provide Marie with holidays, nice phones and other luxuries,' said the mother-of-two, speaking to The Sun. 'For me, the job was very empowering and a confidence boost.'
