This article looks at the Red Van initiative that works around Copenhagen. They seek to reduce harm in Copenhagen by providing an indoor space for street sex workers to get healthcare items.
Unfortunately, in June 2019 a new government was elected. This new government for the first time in years, rejected the annual application for funding. In their letter, the City of Copenhagen wrote that they cannot support The Red Van’s operations because we “promote human trafficking and illegal migrant work”.
