George Coman, 34, and Marusia Mocanu, 32, will stand trial in Scotland for alleged human trafficking. They are accused of controlling a Romanian woman, bringing her to Glasgow Airport in early 2024, and forcing her into prostitution. The charges include harboring her in a Govan flat, compelling her to engage in sex work, and transporting her to other locations for the same purpose. The indictment also alleges they supplied her with drugs and alcohol, and attempted to send her back to Romania. Both defendants deny the charges, including separate drug offenses and attempting to pervert the course of justice. Coman also faces assault charges. The trial is set for November 2025.
