Essex Police is investigating a number of suspected brothels across Southend.
Police confirmed that they have received a number of reports relating to alleged brothels across different locations in Southend.
Recently, action was taken at two of these suspected locations alongside Southend Borough Council.
One person was arrested and another has been safeguarded.
